memories

what is memory?for me memory is the diary that we all carry about with us.Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. And even if you were in some prison, the walls of which let none of the sounds of the world come to your senses.Would you not then still have your childhood, that precious, kingly possession, that treasure-house of memories?I have memories, but only a fool stores his past in the future.Memory is a complicated thing, a relative to truth, but not its twin.To look backward for a while is to refresh the eye, to restore it, and to render it the more fit for its prime function of looking forward.
People seem to get nostalgic about a lot of things they weren't so crazy about the first time around. Some people says to me don't let the past steal your present.I said ya.That true. And some says if you are still talking about what you did yesterday, you haven't done much today.I need neither future nor past, but to learn to take today not too fast and no yesterdays are ever wasted for those who give themselves to today.

. "My night has become a sunny dawn because of you."

The hours I spend with you I look upon as sort of a perfumed garden, a dim twilight, and a fountain signing to it...you and you alone make me feel that I am alive...Other men, it is said, have seen angels, but I have seen thee and thou art enough.

The most wonderful of all things in life is the discovery of another human being with whom one's relationship has a growing depth, beauty and joy as the years increase. This inner progressiveness of love between two human beings is a most marvelous thing; it cannot be found by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of divine accident, and the most wonderful of all things in life." "It is a curious sensation, the sort of pain that goes mercifully beyond our powers of feeling. When your heart is broken, your boats are burned, nothing matters any more. It is the end of happiness and the beginning of peace.
